Lifetime Warranty

Cal Coast Shutters warranty's that our custom wood shutters are free from defects in materials and workmanship. In the event of a defect, Cal Coast Shutters will repair or replace, at its sole discretion, any shutter or shutter component that fails due to faulty materials or workmanship.  This will be the buyer’s exclusive remedy for valid warranty claims. Paint finishes are guaranteed for 10 years, stain finishes for 5 years.

Cal Coast Shutters are meticulously manufactured utilizing the finest quality, furniture grade, hardwoods by skilled craftsmen and women. Though we always strive for perfection, as with any handmade, natural wood product, minor imperfections may be noticeable if inspected closely enough. These minor imperfections may not be considered defects in materials or workmanship if not readily noticeable under normal lighting conditions.

This warranty does not cover damage caused by conditions outside of the control of Cal Coast shutters, such as misuse, chemical cleaners, acts of God (such as fires, floods, earthquakes, etc.), environmental damage (such as insect damage, exposure to excessive sun, excessive humidity, or moisture).

This warranty is exclusive and in lieu of all other obligations, liabilities, and warranties. In no event will Cal Coast shutters be responsible for any special, incidental, or consequential damages whatsoever. These limitations and exclusions may be subject to the laws of your state and may not apply to you.

Your shutters are fine wood furnishings that can last a lifetime if cared for properly. Clean with a feather duster (or similar) and a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth, never use chemical cleaners.
